Don’t know what size ring you need?
As with most other things, rings are measured differently depending which country you live in. I provide UK and USA sized in all my ring descriptions. There is a different sizing system used in Europe.
You can but ring sizing gauges but if you don’t have one handy you can estimate your ring size. Take a piece of string and wrap it around the widest part of your finger (possibly the knuckle joint?) – you can now measure the string in millimetres and use the chart below.

Re-Sizing your ring.
If your ring is just one or two sizes to big or two small it is normally possible for you to have the ring re-sized. Take the ring to any decent jewellery shop and they will be able to help. The cost should be £15 to £25 ish for a simple ring. A ring which is very fancy with lots of stones will need more work and so may cost more.
