One of the wonderful things about buying vintage jewellery is that occasionally you come across a really unique piece that you’ve never seen before. This happens to me this week and I was really excited to come across this vintage ring which is in the shape of an eye and comes complete in its original box.

This vintage ring is in the form of an eye. The center is set with a large crystal clear gemstone and the edge is lined by two rows of rubies. The sides of the setting are scrolling as you can see in the fourth picture.
I believe that this ring dates form circa 1920s to 1940s and it comes in its original box as can be seen in the second picture ( the box is functional but a little scruffy. The inside of this ring is stamped as 14K and it tests around 14 carat gold. Across the head of this eye ring measures about 1.2 cms and the eye is about 1.7 cms long going all the way across the finger.
This ring is finger size UK N, USA 6.75. An excellent chance to acquire a rare piece of vintage jewellery.
