Posted by: | CommentsIt seems to be the fashion amongst young couples to buy a vintage engagement ring rather than new. Is it just that they are cheaper than a new ring or are the happy couple hoping that a bit of the romance of vintage jewellery will come into their lives along with the ring?
It seems that the vintage engagement ring of choice is made of nine carat gold and set with one or three sparking diamonds. The diamonds being quite small can be chosen to be very white as these tend to catch the eye more than the less sought after yellowish diamonds.
